By integrating the Web and the desktop, Internet Explorer has made your desktop and its folders look and work more like the Web. You can now browse your computer just as you browse the Webùand you can browse the Web from anywhere on your computer: You'll find the Go and Favorites menus everywhere. You can also add "active content," such as a stock ticker, to your desktop, the taskbar, or your folders.
Before you get started, think about how you like to use your computer and how you like to browse the Web.
